About Ema
Ema’s approach to care is grounded in compassion, patience, and a deep respect for the individual. Inspired by the values of kindness and generosity passed down by her grandparents, she is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing of those she serves. Her practice is hands-on and practical, with a strong focus on physical structure, alignment, and the subtle diagnostic principles of Chinese Medicine. Ema creates a calm, supportive space where patients—particularly elderly— can experience relief from pain, reduced stress, and restored balance. She holds a BSc in Traditional Chinese Medicine and an MSc in Psychology, allowing her to work with both the physical and emotional aspects of health. Ema continues to refine her practice through ongoing study in Classical Chinese Medicine.

About Linda
Linda Mills is a highly experienced acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist, and practitioner of Shiatsu and Tui Na, with a long-standing commitment to traditional healing practices. She began her professional training in 1995 and qualified in 1998 after completing an intensive three-year programme at the Ki Kai Shiatsu Centre, which integrated Shiatsu massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and counselling. Alongside her core training, Linda undertook Suzanne Yates’ one-year Pregnancy, Birth, and Baby Shiatsu course. This specialist qualification enables her to support women through fertility and pregnancy, as well as to train birth partners in Shiatsu-based pain relief techniques. She also offers a comprehensive Third Trimester Pregnancy Pack designed to support preparation for childbirth. In 2016, Linda completed a degree in Western Medicine, Therapeutic Relationships, Research, and Acupuncture. Her research dissertation examined the use of acupuncture points within Shiatsu and their effects on autistic children. This work informed her subsequent specialist practice within autistic centres, where she explored the impact of massage on wound healing and immune function. Linda further advanced her clinical expertise in 2020 by completing a Masters in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the University of Westminster. Her postgraduate research focused on stroke rehabilitation, with a particular emphasis on the use of Chinese herbs to support skin healing and wound recovery in stroke survivors. Over the course of her career, Linda has worked across a wide range of clinical areas, including menstrual health, menopause, fertility, pregnancy and postnatal care, paediatrics, and autism. Her experience also extends to supporting individuals with stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and chronic skin conditions such as psoriasis and eczema. In addition, she works with people in drug rehabilitation and those experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and hearing voices. Linda also treats headaches, migraines, allergies, asthma, and musculoskeletal pain and injuries.

The 60+ sessions take place at Miller's Way Project which is in Miller's way, Shepherd’s Bush, W6 7NH
The clinic is usually upstairs, however please let us know if you cannot use stairs. The clinic can sometimes be downstairs and a ramp can be set up if necessary. There is car access to the door for drop offs and pick ups, but not car parking as this is a small private residential road.
There is a waiting area and tea is served so you can relax before and after the session.
Donations
The sessions are charged at very low rate, although many people have asked if they can pay more. If you want to donate, there will be an option to do so on the day. Please just ask your practitioner. Any help is greatly appreciated and goes straight into the kitty for the assistance clinic you are donating to. It means that we can compensate the practitioner or make the treatment available to someone else who needs it but cannot afford it otherwise.
Please never feel obliged to donate. All that we do ask is for your commitment to the process and for feedback in the form of assessment questionnaires and online reviews, and for you to spread the word about this offering.
