One of the great benefits of Chinese Medicine is the fact that for most of its very long history it grew independently from what we now think of as conventional medicine, which means it is coming from a very different viewpoint to treat human condition. If you have a condition which you feel is treated in an unsatisfactory way, or a complex problems which does not easily correspond to recognised patterns of illness, perhaps because it overlaps with a few bodily systems (immune, digestive, nervous system etc) then you might well benefit from an overall assessment that goes into a bit more detail.
